The Fluid Mechanics (FM) group conducts research in optical flow techniques and in efficient, high order Lagrangian methods for numerical simulation of fluid flow. Fundamental research is performed in nanofluidics and fluid flow in biological systems. Applied research includes industrial fluid mechanics and the aerodynamics of suspension bridges. The FM group has a significant collaboration with Danish industry.
